Lithium, hybrid and EV batteries
A dead lithium battery in a luxury or exotic car can often be revived instead of replaced.
Many newer luxury and exotic cars carry a 12-volt lithium battery that shuts itself off when it drains too far, and the usual answer is a new battery. BMR Auto finds what drained it, tests the cells, revives the battery when the cells are healthy and registers it to the car, for a fraction of the cost of a new one.

Not in South Florida? Ship us the module.
Owners across the US send BMR Auto the part instead of the car. We repair or clone it on the same bench that handles the cars in our Dania Beach bays, test it, and ship it back ready to go in. Most module repairs are finished within one business day after the part arrives.
When the module or battery you already have can be saved, we repair it at a fair price, and a repaired original footwell module goes back in without new coding.

Questions owners ask
Will servicing my car at an independent shop affect the warranty?
Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer cannot void your warranty just because maintenance or repairs were done at an independent shop. It can still deny a specific claim if it shows the outside work or a part caused the failure, and repairs covered by the warranty are done free at the dealer. Keep the written invoice we give you for every job.
How much does a repair cost at BMR Auto?
It depends on the car and the fault, so we quote each job. Call BMR Auto or send the year, model and VIN with a short description, and we will tell you the cost before any work starts. Owners tell us in their reviews that our prices are fair, often well below the dealer.
Can you revive a dead BMW lithium battery?
Often, yes. Many BMW lithium batteries shut themselves off after a deep discharge and can be recovered when the cells are healthy. We find what drained the battery first, then test it, revive it or tell you it needs replacing. See lithium, hybrid and EV battery service.
Can you program a key if I lost every key?
On a 2009 to 2018 Rolls-Royce Ghost, Wraith or Dawn, yes: the car is towed to us and we program new keys. For a BMW or any other make, call BMR Auto with the year, model and VIN and we will tell you what can be done here and what only the dealer can do. See keys.
Do you work on cars other than BMW?
Yes. Rolls-Royce, Mini, Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren and Maserati owners all bring their cars to us, and we also work on Aston Martin, Land Rover and Range Rover. Every make has its own page under Brands.
