Why concierge

Extraordinary cars call for extraordinary service.

If you own a Rolls-Royce, a Ferrari, a Porsche or a McLaren, you expect more than a service desk and a waiting room, and the car needs more than an ordinary shop can give it. BMR Auto was built for owners like you, who need to know their car is cared for at the highest level without giving up a day to arrange it. Our team knows these cars and knows how to look after the people who drive them, so world-class clients get world-class service, from the first call to the moment the car is back in your garage.

Your time back

We collect the car and return it, so the service fits around your day.

One person to call

KJ and the team keep you updated with photos and plain answers while the car is with us.

Specialist hands

The technicians who work on your car work on cars of its class every week.

Returned better

The car comes back serviced, detailed and ready to drive.

At a glance

Concierge service at BMR Auto.

  • BMR Auto is an independent BMW, luxury and exotic car repair shop at 325 W Dixie Highway, Dania Beach, FL 33004.
  • BMR Auto’s concierge service collects your car in an enclosed carrier and brings it back after the work is done.
  • Every concierge car gets a fine detail before it goes back to its owner.
  • Concierge pricing is on request. The quote depends on the distance, the pickup and return addresses, whether the car runs, and timing.
  • BMR Auto serves owners across South Florida, from Miami to Palm Beach, and can deliver cars outside Florida.
  • Federal minimum insurance for for-hire carriers covers harm to other people and property, not the car being carried, so the cargo coverage in writing is the figure to ask for.
  • BMR Auto also stores cars in air-conditioned, secured space at the shop. See car storage.

How it works

Four steps, from your driveway and back.

  1. Request and quote. Tell us the car, the pickup and return addresses, your dates and the work it needs. We send a price for the transport and, where we can, an estimate for the work.
  2. Enclosed pickup. The car is loaded into an enclosed carrier at your address, out of the sun and the road spray.
  3. Service at BMR Auto. The car comes to our shop in Dania Beach for the work you approved, and we keep you updated with photos as the work goes on.
  4. Fine detail and return. Before the car leaves, it gets a fine detail. Then it goes back to the address you choose.

Enclosed transport

How the car travels.

An enclosed carrier keeps the car out of road spray, sun and debris on the way. These are the points that make a pickup go smoothly.

Enclosed at pickup

The car is collected in an enclosed carrier, so it reaches the shop without road grime, rain or stone chips from the highway.

Low cars

Tell us the model and any lowering or front lift when you book. Low cars need a low loading angle, and we plan the pickup around it.

A car that does not run

Tell us if the car does not start or drive. It changes how the car is loaded, and it can change the price.

Personal items

Take personal items out of the car before pickup. A carrier’s cargo insurance usually covers the car only, not things left inside it.

Checking a carrier

What to ask any carrier before it takes your car.

Whoever moves a car worth this much, the owner should see the carrier’s numbers and its cargo coverage. Ask us, and we will tell you who carries your car.

  • The carrier’s name and its USDOT number.
  • Its MC number, if it carries cars across state lines for pay.
  • Its cargo insurance, per vehicle, and any deductible, in writing.

Check the numbers yourself

Companies that carry cars across state lines for pay, or arrange that transport, generally need operating authority from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, often identified by an MC number. A truck used in interstate commerce with a gross vehicle or combination weight rating of 10,001 pounds or more generally needs a USDOT number. You can look both up on FMCSA’s public site.

Federal minimum insurance for for-hire carriers covers harm to other people and property, not the car being carried. Federal cargo insurance minimums apply only to household goods movers. That is why the cargo coverage amount, in writing, is the figure to ask for.

Service area

South Florida, from Miami to Palm Beach.

BMR Auto serves owners in Miami, Sunny Isles Beach, Aventura, Hallandale Beach and Golden Isles, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton and Palm Beach. Give us the pickup address, and the quote covers the trip both ways.

Dates

Dates are set when you book.

Carriers usually give a pickup window of several days and call shortly before they arrive. We confirm your dates when you book. A fixed date, if you need one, can change the price.

Delivery outside Florida is available. Tell us the address and your dates, and we will quote the trip.

Out-of-state and seasonal owners

For owners who are not here all year.

Many owners keep a car in South Florida for the season, or buy one here and take it home. The concierge service covers both.

A car kept here for the season

Have it serviced, detailed and ready when you arrive, or serviced before it ships north. While you are away it can stay in our air-conditioned, secured storage. See car storage and, for Rolls-Royce owners, seasonal Rolls-Royce care.

A car shipped in for specialist work

BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce electronics, programming and coding are our core work, and the concierge service can bring a car in from outside Florida for it. For a module only, the car does not have to travel: see mail-in repair.

A car bought in Florida

A car bought here can be inspected before it goes north, and delivered to you after. See pre-purchase inspection.

The return detail

The car is detailed before it comes back.

Every concierge car gets a fine detail before it is returned.

The detail is part of the concierge service and is done at the shop, after the work and before the car goes back to you.

If the car already has a ceramic coating, it is washed with products that are safe for the coating. Matte paint is washed by hand with soap made for matte finishes.

Ceramic coating

Ceramic coating is done in the shop and quoted separately. At BMR Auto it is five layers of a professional ceramic coating, chosen for the car’s paint finish, with a 7-day turnaround.

For paint damage, see collision and body repair.

Pricing

Pricing on request.

Every concierge trip is quoted for the car and the addresses. The quote depends on:

  • The distance between your address and the shop
  • The pickup and return addresses, if they differ
  • Whether the car runs and drives
  • Timing, including whether you need a fixed date

The owners who use concierge are paying for their time as much as for the trip, and we respect that. BMR Auto prices the transport fairly, the same way it prices the work in the shop, with the care we would give a friend or a family member. Treating clients and their cars that way is how BMR Auto has grown, and why so many exotic car owners trust us with both.

What owners say about BMR Auto

These reviews describe the shop and its repair work in general. No review on Google yet describes concierge pickup.

“2 things most people have a fear of. Going to Dr and looking for someone to help with your car. I still fear the Dr! KJ and his crew took great care of us and our vehicle recently. From the moment they took possession of our car there were constant updates. Pictures of the work and reassurance that we were being taken care of. When we went and picked up the car we were not disappointed! Great work! Thanks KJ. My wife and I highly recommend this business!”

“I contacted BMR after finding their information on Facebook while desperately searching for BMW specialists. After speaking to several different shops on the phone, I could tell they were knowledgeable, pleasant and honest. They gave me clear costs and expectations up front. They fixed my son[’s] car the same day with no surprises of extra fees or add-ons. I even received photos of my car when they worked [on] it. They also send text appointment reminders and notice of when your car is ready. The shop is clean and welcoming and the staff is professional. I was truly impressed and would recommend this business to anyone. We drove 30 miles from SW Dade and will do so at anytime in the future, when needed - won’t trust anyone else! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.”

Lennette N. · BMW · Google

Always willing to take my phone calls, always communicative with updates for repairs. Prices are always reasonable. BMR always gets the job done. I look forward to doing more business in the coming years. Thanks again.”

Questions about concierge pickup

How much does concierge pickup cost?

Pricing is on request. The quote depends on the distance, the pickup and return addresses, whether the car runs, and timing. Use the request form or call, and we will quote your trip.

Is my car carried in an enclosed truck?

Yes. BMR Auto collects concierge cars in an enclosed carrier.

How do you load a low car like a Lamborghini or a McLaren?

Tell us the model and any lowering or front lift when you book. Low cars need a low loading angle, and we plan the pickup around the car.

Who pays if the car is damaged in transport?

The carrier’s cargo insurance. Federal minimum insurance for carriers covers harm to others, not the car being carried, so ask us, or any carrier, for the cargo coverage in writing before pickup.

Can I leave things in the car?

Take them out. A carrier’s cargo insurance usually covers the car only, not personal items left inside it.

My car does not run. Can you still collect it?

Tell us when you ask for a quote. Whether the car runs and drives changes how it is loaded and can change the price.

Do you deliver outside Florida?

Yes. Tell us the address and your dates, and we will quote the trip. For a module or a lithium battery, the car does not have to travel: see mail-in repair.

Will the car be clean when it comes back?

Yes. Every concierge car gets a fine detail before it is returned. A coated car is washed with coating-safe products, and matte paint by hand with matte soap.

Can you keep the car while I am away?

Yes. BMR Auto stores cars in air-conditioned, secured space at the shop, and the concierge service can bring the car back when you return. See car storage.

Tell us the car and where to collect it.
